MOFA Spokesperson’s Statement Regarding Announcement of Ceasefire in Lebanon
1. The government of the Republic of Korea welcomes the announcement of a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon and commends the diplomatic efforts of countries involved in negotiating the ceasefire, including the United States and France.
2. The ROK government also hopes for the safe return of displaced persons on both sides through the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement, as well as the swift restoration of peace in the region.
